
Dassia (or Dasia) is a large resort on the east cost of the Island, conveniently located 14 km from Corfu Town. Dassia is situated along a pretty stretch of coastline and is twinned with Ipsos which lies a mile to the North . The long stretch of pebble and shingle beach can be reached by various side roads leading off from the main road that runs through the resort.
Gouvia is home to Corfu's main marina and has a strong seafaring history going back to its days as a Venetian naval base.

Nissaki is another peaceful and picturesque village on the northeast coast of Corfu Island. Nissaki means “little island” in Greek. In the past, according to the old people, Nissaki was a small rocky island, which joined with the main land of the village through the years. The resort is located on the northeast coast of Corfu Island and just 25km from Corfu Town.
